Navigate Hybrid Work Challenges
There’s a reason why the world’s biggest brands are hitting the headlines for their creative use of meeting pods and acoustic booths, which are versatile, cost-effective, contemporary and offer the best of all worlds.
We often find ourselves divided as a nation, so perhaps it is not surprising that Managers are now looking to cater for a conflicting range of workspace needs as people adjust from many months of lone, homeworking to being back in a busy open-plan office environment.
But rather than trying to reach compromises on issues such as wellbeing, safety, budget, social support, noise, hygiene, privacy, and collaboration, meeting pods and booths allow us to quickly and cost-effectively create a working environment in which everyone can thrive.
Maybe you can please all of the people all of the time?
As the transition to a more permanent hybrid working model continues, large open-plan spaces offer the most flexibility for hot-desking, spontaneous collaboration, and social support. However, open-plan spaces are not the best when it comes to face-to-face meetings, nor do they cater to best practices when it comes to the need for private meetings, safety and wellbeing.
One of the reasons that productivity increased when everyone worked from home was the elimination of open-plan office distractions, but the trade-off was less collaboration, with many people feeling isolated, which affected their longer-term wellbeing and productivity. The diverse range of acoustic pods and meeting booths available can quickly and cost-effectively offer the best of both worlds as well as make your workspace look more contemporary, stylish and welcoming.
We provide one of the largest ranges of meeting pods and booths
All of which not only look incredible but also provide versatile solutions such as:
- The Escape Pod from the Meeting Pod Company and Bob the Acoustic Pod from JDD Furniture Ltd , giving employees a break away from the open-plan environment, whether needed for private meetings such as appraisals, to avoid distractions or just for general wellbeing purposes.
- As remote working truly becomes the norm, expect to see acoustic pods everywhere from your workplace to high street coffee shops. Choose from Xchange Acoustic office pods for meetings, intensive work or FaceTime calls, or Aspect 3 Acoustic office work pods in a range of materials that offer a cost-effective solution to fixed meeting rooms and are large enough for bigger groups and events.
- Short on space? Casala’s Capsule Acoustic office Work Pods are beautiful statement pieces that create sound-absorbing cocoons for colleagues or visitors needing moments of quiet and comfort.
- If you want to create a truly multi-purpose, productive space, then Fifteen Environments Meeting Booths from Pledge Chairs might just be about to revolutionise your office. These free-standing modular elements are versatile and comfortable. Choose from low-backed and high-backed coordinating booths and pods, or use them in combination to create different zones throughout your workspace.

Can meeting pods save lives?
We don’t just supply the commercial sector. Increasingly, hospitals and spaces serving the general public have benefitted hugely from meeting booths and pods. Prior to the pandemic, throughout and beyond we’ve been proud to have worked with the NHS and healthcare providers, providing fast, flexible and cost-effective additional spaces for use as hubs and offices, reception areas or examination rooms.
One such example being the Frem Work Pods which we installed in a wide corridor as GP examination rooms to counter waiting times at emergency departments. Offering complete privacy, the pods were fitted with a bed, curtain and equipment turning them into fully operational doctors’ surgery rooms so that GPs could determine whether people needed emergency care and thus reduce waiting times.
Because the acoustic pods do not fix to the building structure they are essentially a piece of free-standing furniture, meaning they can be repurposed at any point, making them highly flexible, efficient and adaptable investments.
Could work pods or meeting booths work for you?
